Arrow Auctions is a privately owned company that was established in 1979 at its original premises in Arrow Road, Redditch, Worcestershire. Its primary aim was to provide valuation and auctioneering services to a wide and varied selection of commercial and private clients. In the early years sales were held monthly and were usually a mixture of general and commercial items; however within a year these had progressed to weekly sales to encompass not only general household items but industrial auctions of plant and machinery, catering equipment, government supply furniture and stock liquidations. The business has enjoyed continued and steady growth since its inception and as a result relocated in 1991 to its current premises, the old Quinneys Dairy site. Over the next 12 months the six acre site was redeveloped and transformed into 4 permanent salerooms and 25,000 sq ft of secure storage. In 1994 further expansion and development added a dedicated motor auction facility with a provision to offer up to 100 vehicles for sale under cover and parking facilities for up to 200 cars. The company now has 25 employees, 2 specialist auctioneers and 2 fellow members of the National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers (NAVA) as well as being members of the National Association of Motor Auctions.
